Like The Seasons...
Life brings us many changes. Some of these changes are expected and we can prepare for them. However, there are some unwelcomed changes that could never be anticipated or prepared for. Changes that alter your course and take you down a frightening unknown road that you never thought you, or your family, would ever travel.
The instant your child is seriously injured, or displays symptoms of something that is much more serious than just a common cold or ear infection, life as you knew it changes. Plans change, priorities change, goals change, views change. Your focus changes, as all of these peripheral things seem to fade away, leaving only what is most important - the urgent needs of your child.
While giving all your efforts to your child, the world does not stop moving. There is still a house to take care of. The family still needs to be fed. The grass is still growing and the car still has an oil leak. And the list continues.
You come to the realization that there is too much to do and not enough time to do it, because you dare not lose a precious moment with your child.
This is where Open Arms Outreach comes in. Our Family of volunteers are here for you during this difficult time. We come along side you, and help share the load so that you can focus on what is most important.
Volunteers will help with housecleaning, yard work, home & automotive repair, transportation, grocery shopping, cooking, child care, hospital visitations, and many other tasks to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support.
We Care, and you don't have to go through this difficult time alone.
